In our work, we find many organizations could save time, money, and frustration by using CiviCRM's built-in event tools more fully.  Maybe you're new to CiviCRM or looking to set up your first event using CiviEvent.

This training will help you navigate this important feature of CiviCRM that will make it easier for you to manage your events and easier for your constituents to engage with your organization.

In this two hour session we will cover how to set up an event from planning to completion, including

  • how to use CiviCRM to create name badges,
  • registering participants off- and on-line,
  • when to use price sets,
  • how to use your content management system to display a calendar of upcoming events, and
  • how to perform follow up after the event to further your relationship with your constituency.

You’ll leave this training with new skills in CiviCRM as well as a list of best practices for events and a checklist that you can use to set up your own events.

This training will be conducted in CiviCRM 4.3 and Drupal 7, but it will be applicable for all recent versions of CiviCRM for Drupal, Joomla, and WordPress.
