Not everybody needs CiviCRM consulting on a regular basis, but everyone should make sure their system is upgraded to a secure version, backed-up offsite, and monitored for unexpected activity.  This doesn’t need to be a burden; let AGH Strategies handle it for you affordably with flexible and predictable pricing.

In our work, we run into many organizations that have been using CiviCRM for years but haven’t upgraded.  Besides missing out on new features and improved usability, running an out-of-date version of CiviCRM, your CMS, or basic server software leaves you vulnerable to a number of security exploits.  The cost of a hack—in your staff time as well as the cost to rebuild a system—dwarfs the cost of staying up-to-date on upgrades.

Backup for everyone

Your list of supporters is your most valuable asset, yet so many CiviCRM users don’t have a regularly-maintained backup.  Each of our monitoring plans comes with nightly secure off-site backup included. 

Maintenance plans also include a Fire Drill twice a year: this is our opportunity to ensure that your backed-up site can be restored completely and accurately.  We also check that all the necessary credentials and contacts are up-to-date so that our team isn’t locked out in an emergency.

Predictable costs

Staying protected doesn’t need to be expensive.  Our monitoring plans start at $45 per month if you pay annually, and it’ll give you the piece of mind to know that someone is here to take action if your site goes down or an upgrade needs to be applied.

Our maintenance plans turn the uncertainty of upgrades into a flat cost.  We’ll run security upgrades as needed, and we’ll upgrade you to the latest stable version of CiviCRM and Drupal, Joomla, or WordPress on a quarterly schedule.  If you run a Debian or Ubuntu server, we’ll include server software upgrades—including Apache, MySQL, and PHP—for a small extra charge.

Proactive response

All plans include the option for incident response when monitoring indicates your site is down or compromised.  For the basic monitoring and standard maintenance plans, we’ll just charge by the time spent, up to a five-hour cap (and you can authorize more time if needed).

The premium plans add incident response coverage to a predictable monthly rate.  There’s no time limit: we will do everything up through rebuilding your site completely from a backup.

When your needs change or you bring on new staff, we’re here to provide guidance and support.  All members of our staff bring experience from the nonprofit sector, and our knowledge of CiviCRM is second-to-none.  All plans come with à la carte support as you need it; the one exception is the option for unlimited support at one flat rate.

CiviCRM training is also included in each of the maintenance plans.  Standard and premium maintenance come with a credit, accrued quarterly with no expiration, for an in-person or online training program.  The unlimited support combines a credit for in-person trainings with unlimited online trainings for the named contacts in your support plan.

Semi-annual fire drill The fire drill allows us to be sure that you are prepared in case of a disruptive incident on your site. Incident response If things go wrong, the monitoring system will help us take action quickly to protect your data from loss and disclosure and to restore your website and CRM. Monthly server software updates If you run your site on a Debian or Ubuntu VPS or “cloud server” (as we recommend), you’ll need to regularly apply software updates to maintain the server’s performance and security. We will apply updates on a monthly schedule and review your server logs for activity that looks problematic or suspicious. Billed by the time spent. Training
AGH Strategies offers the widest variety of CiviCRM trainings around. To get the most out of your investment in CiviCRM, join us for an in-person or online training program and send new staff as part of their orientation.

We will give you $50 of training credit for online or in-person trainings each quarter. Your credit will last as long as you maintain the service.

Cost
Basic monitoring is $50 per month, or $45 if you pay annually.
Standard maintenance is $410 per month, or $369 if you pay annually.
Premium maintenance is $710 per month, or $639 if you pay annually.
Unlimited support is priced for up to five contacts. If you have more staff who will be needing support, please call. If you pay for a year in advance, we’ll knock 10% off the price: unlimited support is $1,420 per month, or $1,278 if you pay annually.

Not everyone maintains their own server, so why pay for it?  Server software updates are an extra $110 per month (or $99 if paid annually).  This includes making sure your versions of Apache, MySQL, and PHP are up-to-date.  Available only on Debian and Ubuntu servers—others are billed by the hour.
